Meet Brent Clayton, Fairington’s new Lifestyle Manager. Part event planner, part community connector, and always a welcoming presence, Brent is here to help residents make the most of living in this thoughtfully designed Southern Land Company community in Nolensville.
For Brent, that begins with getting to know the people who call Fairington home.
With more than 20 years of experience planning events, activities, travel and incentive programs, Brent knows how to bring people together. But he also knows that a successful event or celebration starts long before the invitations go out. It begins with understanding what people enjoy, what interests they share, and what might inspire them to try something new.
That personal approach is central to his role at Fairington. Whether he’s introducing neighbors who share a love of pickleball, helping organize a gathering, or keeping homeowners informed about what’s happening around the community, Brent wants everyone to feel connected and involved.
A New Home for Community Life
One of Brent’s most exciting responsibilities is helping residents discover everything awaiting them at Fairington Club, scheduled to open in December 2026.
Designed as the heart of community life, the new club will welcome residents with gracious front porches, an inviting clubroom, and a dedicated art room for classes and creative pursuits. Just outside, terrace gardens, a firepit, and an event lawn will offer beautiful settings for everything from casual conversations to seasonal celebrations.
Fitness and recreation will be important parts of the experience, too, with state-of-the-art exercise equipment, a movement studio for group classes, and opportunities for tennis and pickleball. A resort-style pool will add another dimension to outdoor living as Fairington’s amenities continue to take shape.
For Brent, the real excitement lies in helping residents put all these wonderful spaces to use. He envisions a lively gathering place where neighbors come together for fitness classes, explore new interests, enjoy special events, and build friendships.
He’ll help introduce residents to the amenities, coordinate programs and activities, and encourage them to take part in the experiences that interest them most. And as Fairington grows, he’ll look to residents for inspiration, helping shape a calendar that reflects the personalities and passions of the people who call the community home.
Getting to Know the Neighborhood
Brent is already discovering what makes Fairington residents tick.
Through informal conversations and community get-togethers, he’s learning about interests that could shape future programming. Gardening and horticulture are generating enthusiasm, as are opportunities to spend more time outdoors.
And in a community where residents bring loyalties to college football teams from across the Southeast, Brent sees plenty of potential for sports celebrations where neighbors gather outdoors to enjoy games streamed live from a game day truck.
Other possibilities range from mahjong lessons and educational presentations to food-centered celebrations and seasonal events. Existing gatherings, including Fairington Friday, offer opportunities for neighbors to get acquainted, while future activities such as movies on the lawn will create more reasons to come together.
Rather than following a predetermined calendar, Brent intends to let residents help shape the experience. His background in planning and event management has taught him to listen, evaluate what works, and build on the activities people enjoy most.
As Fairington grows, he also looks forward to helping the community establish signature events and traditions that residents will anticipate year after year.

Brent’s arrival is especially meaningful as Fairington continues to welcome new homeowners and bring its community amenities to life.
Along with planning activities, he’ll serve as a resource for residents, sharing updates on construction and community developments, answering questions, and helping homeowners understand what’s coming next.
